Salary Details

Pay Scale: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 per month
Pay Level: Level 6 (7th Pay Commission)

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

🔞 Age Limit

Maximum Age: 30 Years
(as on the opening date of online application)

🎯 Educational / Professional Qualification

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

Diploma in Coaching from SAI NS-NIS, Patiala or equivalent recognized institution
OR
Participation in Olympics / Paralympics / Asian Games / World Championships with Certificate Course in Coaching
OR
Dronacharya Awardee

👉 Equivalent coaching qualifications from recognized Sports Universities are accepted.

⏳ Age Relaxation

Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules:

SC / ST: 5 Years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
Government Employees: As per rules
SAI Contractual Employees: Relaxation equal to period of service
Cumulative age relaxation is allowed (with limits)

📝 Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in two stages:

Computer Based Test (CBT) – 40% Weightage
Coaching Ability Test (CAT) – 60% Weightage

CBT Exam Pattern

Total Questions: 100 MCQs
Duration: 2 Hours
Negative Marking: ¼ mark

Subject-wise Marks:

Sports Discipline Knowledge – 65 Marks
Sports Science – 25 Marks
General Awareness & Aptitude – 10 Marks
